An “Automatic” Water Change

“Infinity Edge” pools are the rage nowadays, and it has been conjectured that the concept of having an “infinity edge” on your pond where some “excess” water will “run off” is beneficial, in that it will provide some sort of a perfect “balance” to your pond, especially when paired with a mechanism which replenishes your pond’s water. But beware that some naturally-occurring sources of fish nutrition (such as plankton and some forms of algae) usually reside near the water’s surface, so using a swiftly-moving “infinity edge” might not be beneficial for your pond.

Find a way to greatly slow down the rate of water run-off if you still want to try the so-called “infinity edge”.
