Also Observe Your Fishes During Feeding.
While we have earlier stated that feeding time is the best time to “bond” with your fishes, it is also during this time (when they are “up close”) that you should observe your fishes for any unusual behavior that could, for instance signal the onset of disease. In particular, be on the lookout for any fishes that appear “sluggish” or won’t “surface” or eat during feeding time. They might be suffering from some disease already. Also, look for overly-aggressive fishes who quarrel other fishes. They might become “problem” fishes and you might need to be isolated.
