Always Dispense Exactly The Right Amount Of Medication

Another means by which parasites and/or other pathogenic organisms might develop resistance to fish medications is if too little of a particular fish medication was administered; the parasite or pathogenic organism might “survive” and develop resistance against that particular fish medication.

So, to prevent this from happening, do not “scrimp” on fish medications; just administer the exact or appropriate amounts as “prescribed” by the medicine’s literature or as directed by your pond shop or specialty store.

If you were to err, do so on the “excess” side, but not so much; the fishes might die along with the parasite(s) and/or pathogenic organism(s).
