Methods For Filtering Pond Water

If we want to strain with a filter that uses different filter materials in our pond water, we can rely upon a number of filter processes. Or better yet, we can combine several filtering methods together in line to purify the pond water.
Thus, it can be distinguished for
– For filtering
– mechanical filtration
– biological filtration

Any good filter would be utilized with these three standard filtering methods.
Or again:
– chemical filtration
– absorption

These bid methods can further extend the standard filtering.

For Filtering

For Filtering is also a form of mechanical filtration.

But we can see this quite strange because filtering has rather traditional multiform filters (multi chambers) to actually filter.

Biological filtration

The name biological filtration is slightly a misleading; for it is not actually the purpose of biological filter media to filter dirt from the water. Before the existence of filters and mechanical filtration,

Other types of pond (swimming pond, marsh pond) or ornamental ponds with lower fish population will
not be provided if they are with a purchased filter that often provide some filtering, while we think of
wetland areas (plant filters substrate, lava stones, …) but that’s another story.
